Hello!! I am excited to begin teaching the students in the Rise Program at the Stevens Building this year. I am originally from Roxboro, NC. My teaching journey has spanned over 15 years at various public and private schools in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. In Roxboro, I attended Person High School and graduated college from East Carolina University, in Greenville, NC. 

In my free time, you can find me umpiring baseball, playing golf, and watching sports, especially those that involve the North Carolina Tar Heels. I also enjoy spending time with my family. 

I am looking forward to making a valuable impact on the education of the students at the Stevens Building. I teach with compassion and patience and deeply care for all students. One of my favorite quotes, by Ralph Waldo Emerson is, "Be led by your dreams, not pushed by your problems." I truly believe that if you work hard you can accomplish anything.
